In ancient China, jade was prized by elites not only as an object to be seen, but to be touched, handled, and caressed as a refined form of appreciation. Through this intimate engagement, jade becomes shaped by the body over time, existing between the physical and emotional. We reintroduce jade to the body, restoring its tactile relationship, allowing it to be worn, touched, and continuously redefined through use.
